Excellent Service! Very friendly and honest! I highly recommend Hometown Auto! I have used them for myself and I also refer my customers to them all the time. They stand behind their work and treat customers like family and friends. I would give 10 stars if I could!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Steve, the owner, is one of the rudest people alive. For no good reason whatsoever he literally got in the face and SCREAMED at a great dear friend of mine who drove into his garage looking for help (she was a previous customer of theirs). Steve went into a rage because she (according to him angrily) "had an inspection sticker from [another local auto place]" (his competition). For this reason only he rudely asked to to vacate his shop - "get out and never come back!"
I went in needing my flat tire urgently fixed - they had it done in less than ten minutes for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back for other services!
She has never been treated this meanly and rudely in her entire life and left in tears. She cried for hours. She later told her husband about her experience (who called to find out why Steve treated his wife so horribly). Steve replied hotly "I am a multi-millionaire and don't even need business from pieces of [expletive] like you." If this is the kind of person who runs this place, he will never have my business and I hope he goes out of business and loses his "millions of dollars."
I completely disagree with some of the bad comments here. We've taken two cars there for years. Never a problem. I thought there was an issue with my front brakes. They said there was just some dirt on the rotor, cleaned it off, NO CHARGE! They have worked great since. Another time there was a mix up on tire size. Was given a great discount for my "inconvience". I will continue to go to Hometown!
Zero customer service or professionalism. Would not let my worst enemy go there to get air put in their tires. SUCKS!...Hm...'owner' I could be a customer or not, relying on your shoddy book keeping to see if I'm in there. What many of us do know is when many customers walk out of a buisness with the 'owner' screaming at people, that tells you something about the buisness and family. Good luck! I can do this all day.
