Peter, the salesman that handled our purchase, was amazing, understanding and very helpful. He made us laugh and went above and beyond when it came to getting us our new-to-us car.
A couple weeks after purchase I thought there was an issue so I brought it in, the service guy was polite and explained it was nothing to worry about. He even topped off my tire pressure and checked the oil for me.
I bought a 2012 Honda Civic from Paya's last year (September 2016). Since buying, it I've had some dash lights come on (ABS and something else) and problems with the car starting (shut down on the road while leaving work) - but, I brought it to Paya's and they fixed those problems.
It's been amazing going from a 2000 VW that always had issues to a reliable car I can just get in and go.
The sales team held my hand through the financing processes and did a great job explaining each step.
Little while later, the tire pressure light came on, brought it in to be fixed and they said they cleared the error -- however, the light returned the next day. Ive ignored it since, because my tire pressure is fine and I figured it was just an electrical error (or due to change in the temperature/over sensitive sensor).
I will definitely come back to Paya's and always recommend them to friends and family.
However, the reason I have ultimately decided to give Paya's a one star rating, is because my first winter with the car - starting around January - my car stopped starting. This would happen randomly, until it became more frequent. The car would start, then all of the sudden turn off (while all of the lights on the dash remained on). Tried revving my engine quickly before the car had to shut off, and it sounded healthy - but still, shut off immediately. So, I brought it into Paya's, and they replaced the ignition - I paid over the phone and went to pick up my car after work (when they were closed). I went to start the car in their lot, and it wouldn't start/work (after being told it was supposedly fixed). I called the next day saying it must've not been the ignition that was causing the problem (which I paid $300 for) and something else, and asked if I could return the part and have them look at it further. They said 'NO', I still needed the ignition (I would've argued with them but I don't know enough about cars to justify my request and felt very frustrated and ripped off). They kept the car for a week and ended up not being able to figure out what was wrong with it (they thought it might be the security chip in the key - but, that didn't turn out to be the problem). So, now i owned a car that i've had for less then a year that wont even start if its below 45 F...for some mysterious reason (as they cannot fix the car they've sold me). I feel a little bit conned and at a loss.
Purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from Paya's this last summer. I did most of my research before I visited their establishment and only wanted something reliable and efficient. Even though I had my mind made up when it came to the car I wanted, they offered me test drives in a variety of similar cars.
